Communicate more than ever

As an owner, make sure that your guest has listed the maximum amount of information, especially phone numbers (yours, roadside assistance, etc.) and precise pick-up address.

Be sure to maintain communication during the rental. We advise you to set a regular update call, text or email: it assures trust between members and will help to catch potential small problems before they grow bigger. Some people like to get news every week, others are happy with once a month, but decide this together, before the rental begins.

Set rules for maintenance

With longer rentals, a visit to the mechanic during the trip is more likely necessary than with short term rentals. Think about how you want to proceed, for example, in case of normal wear and tear or with regular maintenance, like replacing fluids and changing oil. Make sure you and your guest have a mutually agreed-upon outline of what to do in case of emergencies.
