Tvrtko has been living in Canada for two years, but hadn’t had the chance to visit one of Canada’s most exciting regions — Quebec. So Tvrtko and his buddy Matej G. got a group together and set out for a road trip that would take them along the St. Lawrence River on their way to Montréal. In Toronto, they grabbed David’s Volvo XC90, a handsome and comfortable SUV with plenty of space to stretch out during the journey.

About halfway to Montréal, they stopped for a delicious brunch in Kingston, Ontario. The former capital of Canada is situated on the north shore of Lake Ontario, the easternmost of the Great lakes.

Montréal turned out to be a real treat! They explored the historic cobblestones of Old Montréal and took in the vibrant art on display in the bilingual city. They visited the famous Mount Royal and the beautiful university campuses surrounding it — including English-speaking McGill University and the French-speaking Université de Montréal.

They made sure to sample ample amounts of the local cuisine. Poutine and Montréal bagels were on the menu, tying the trip together nicely before heading back to Toronto. If you’re headed to Toronto, find the car that will make your trip complete!
