When the weather outside is frightful…but the holidays are over and you can’t sit by the fire anymore because you have places to be, sometimes, getting around can get a little dicey. We’ve done some research to present you with the most reliable winter cars. These cars will wrap you up in their big strong arms, and keep you safe and snug on the roads this winter.

Jeep Wrangler

This cowboy will stop at nothing to make sure you’re safe. Even the iciest driveway can’t hold this rugged Wrangler back. With its large tires and lifted body, this cowboy is super fit to handle whatever winter might throw its way. Engage that 4wd and your Wrangler transforms into the superhero known as Crawlzilla.

Subaru Outback

The Outback has all the rough and tumble of a real survivalist, but with the choicest, top-of-the-line anti-lock brakes. This car, constantly donning its green and khaki cargoes, is no match for the wicked, wintry roads. Light and lithe with a lot of power, this car boasts an active torque split all-wheel drive system that splits power 60%/40% front to rear, but can send more power to the rear wheels if front slip is detected. Woah.

Audi A4

On the outside, this A4 looks like an elegant and pristine machine, gliding delicately along the pavement, but on the inside lives a fierce winter warrior, ready to break at the first sign of trouble. This whip can stop superfast without a screeching, sliding scene. She’s as classy as it gets, and her traction control has no rival.

Subaru Forester

This is the dad who loves to camp. He’ll show you how to tie knots, ward off bears, and traverse snow berms like a bo$$. There’s no blizzard this outdoorsy pop-pop can’t maneuver. Don’t be fooled by his midwestern charm, when it comes to keeping you safe on the icy roads, this Forester is all business, dontchaknow.

Jeep Grand Cherokee

This heartthrob is the most popular guy in school for a reason. He’s handsome, capable, and an all around good guy. As far as why he’s MVP, he can automatically transfer up to 100% of his torque power to either axle, increasing his ability to claw through snow like the beast-machine that he is. If he can’t do it, no one can!
